Chicago, IL (PRWeb) December 7, 2006 -- Search Engine Strategies Conference -- Infuse Creative Founder/President Gregory Markel shared his 12 years of search engine marketing expertise with Search Engine Strategies conference attendees this morning regarding how to go about the marketing and optimization of mobile web sites and content for such popular mobile search engines as Google Mobile, Yahoo Mobile, Ask Mobile and others.
Gregory stated that, "There are 36.6 Million mobile web users as of June 2006, so mobile search engine usage is quickly ramping up to be as hot as Internet search and clients and brands need to make sure their mobile content is optimized and easily found."
Gregory mentioned that the Google Mobile Search engine is currently the top mobile search engine according to the Telephia mobile search report, followed by the Yahoo Mobile Search engine.
Gregory emphazised that mobile web sites need to have very compelling, well written titles and descriptions, as well as provide a fast and quality user experience to the consumer, regardless of the handset type the consumer is using, otherwise mobile searchers quit the site and do not return. He also mentioned that mobile searchers, probably due to the difficulty in typing on a handset, use only 2-3 word queries and that mobile search marketers should note this when selecting keywords.
